Please note that your post "How to Make a Dragon Puppet (Part 11)" was reverted back to draft status because Travis had posted the same video immediately before you. It is important that "authors" stay current with what has already been posted on Web Series Today. In this case it was quite clear and could have been avoided had you checked the blog prior to posting. Also, always check the blog after your post just in case someone has made the same post at the same time. If this occurs then delete the duplicate post as quickly as possible before it goes out on Twitter.
Since your post is set to draft you have the option to add substantial new content to it..... lets say a review or commentary and and repost it. But please try to avoid duplicates by staying current with what is posted on the blog on a daily basis.
Also note that it is helpful if you stay up to date on any comments made on your posts for a day or so after posting because this is our primary mode of communication.
Finally note that the preferred size for videos is 640x360. For some time we have had a special note at the top of the blog explaining that and it is taking up space that could be used to help other series. However we cannot do that until all authors demonstrate that they have got the message by using embeds that are 640x360.
Sorry for my error....but I'm not able for some reason to delete duplicate postings for some reason...I've even duplicated on Pink Slip...but can't figure out how to take it down...I will check more carefully before sharing again. I have not been up to date lately and will try to do better...but I broke my knee the night before the last Pink Slip shoot in October so please ask Tachyfin if he would send me flowers....I'm now much better..and will try to do better....but I'll take the flowers anyway. I don't understand re: the pixels but will ask my editor...she deals with the technical stuff of which unfortunately I am pretty clueless...sorry if I've caused you problems.
To "delete" just hit the edit button under a post (the pencil) and then hit the "save as draft". That leaves the post unpublished where it can later be deleted but you don't really need to worry about the deletion if you don't see how to do it.
In terms of the embed size, again just hit the edit button and then make sure you are in the html edit mode. You should see a bunch of code. Just look for the number 560 (or 480 for SD video) and change that to 640, and the number 315 (or 270 for SD video) and change that to 360 (or 480 for SD video), and then hit update and you are done. Remember to check the final post to ensure you got everything right and it looks the right size.
By far the easiest way is to pick the right size of embed code from under your video when you post it. Just select the 640x360 option, copy and paste it and you are done.
Don't worry about making mistakes. The important thing is to learn and get better at doing things. We have a great community of many experienced people, so if you have questions just ask. Even Tachyfin will try and help you but Tachy is not too good with code.
I see Tachyfin is busy plucking some of his precious plants from the bottom of his pond, so you should be receiving them soon.
