The End Is Near!

I am not quite sure where April has gone. It has been a whirlwind of activity! We started out the month at RavenCon, a Sci-Fi convention in Richmond, VA, where the cast and crew got their geek on. While we were down there, cast members who weren't in Richmond joined Otessa and crew at the First Annual DC Web Series Festival. The following weekend found me, and a few other cast members back in DC as part of the Best of DC Web Series Festival at FilmFest DC. In the meantime, Clint and the crew filmed all weekend, and worked to get us back on schedule after a winter of delays and aggravation. We have been working long days, filming all weekend, and it is getting crazy as we near the completion of Season 1. We have more effects shots and more fight sequences that need to be done, choreography and fight training, and general mayhem! We only have 4 weekends of shooting left until we are wrapped. And while part of me is breathing a sigh of relief that we are nearly done, part of me is sad to see it go, if only for a while. But the work is far from finished. Clint is going to be up to his eyeballs working on special effects and getting the rest of the season edited. As of last Thursday, we have provided new content each week for 22 weeks!

Now, back to work, getting ready for Sci-Fi Valley Con on May 17-19, and Balticon on Memorial Day weekend!
