YouTube: A call to action!
For years the community has been relatively passive in their approach to Google's YouTube Web site. Yes, we have heard murmurs and occasional protests, but it has not led to any real community voice when it comes to our needs in terms of a video sharing platform.
Do we even have a right to such a voice? Why not? Google and YouTube benefit from being a safe harbor because its video creators are their content providers and for the most part create this content fully independent of Google/YouTube. Why should we not have a voice? We are after all legitimate stake holders.
What do you think?
How should we exert our collective voice to give the community a seat at the table?
